THE PNP PROMOTION SYSTEM Promotion is defined as the upward movement from one classification or rank to another carrying higher benefits and more responsibility. It is the upgrading of ranks and/or advancement to a position of leadership. KINDS OF PROMOTION 1. Regular Promotion 2. Special/ Meritorious/Spot Promotion 3. Promotion by virtue of position I.
